Cengiz Han Günesen was born in 1965 in Edirne. He holds a teaching degree from Trakya University as well as an undergraduate degree from Anadolu University in Photography and Cameramanship. Prior to his retirement, he had been teaching in public schools for 35 years. He is a member of Photographic Art Association of Kocaeli (KASK) and has been a member of the board of directors along with serving as President between 2008 and 2013.

 

He is currently a board member and Vice President of the Photographic Art Federation Of Turkey (TFSF). He represents TFSF in national and international competitions. He has been a
delegate of TFDB/TFSF since 1999 and going forward. He has produced and participated in many exhibitions, shows and talks. He has been serving as a jury member in various photography competitions. He continues to work as a photography instructor at KASK and as well as other institutions.
